Hi everyone! My name is Bethanie Reymer and I am thrilled to be returning to teaching second grade at Arrows this coming school year. Teaching is a passion and joy of mine. From a little girl eagerly asking my own teachers for leftover papers and school supplies so I could play school at home, I always knew I wanted to teach. I graduated from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA with a bachelor’s degree in English and elementary education. My training and work experience includes everything from kindergarten to sixth grade. After having my own daughter in my kindergarten class, I felt God leading me in the direction of homeschooling. I was blessed to graduate my daughter in 2023 and am entering my 12th year homeschooling with my son. This is my fifth year teaching at Arrows Academy and partnering with some wonderful parents in the continued education of their children. I have really enjoyed sharing in God's blessing on this wonderful program at Arrows and getting to know so many of you. I look forward to a new school year with you all! 

Hi everyone! I am beyond excited to be teaching 2nd grade this year at Arrows. This is my 5th year homeschooling my kids and my 4th year having them at Arrows and 2nd year on staff with the amazing team at Arrows. I have been married to my amazing husband Preston for 13 years now and we have 3 kids Maverick, Malaki and Maleah. We have a cute little farm with all sorts of chickens and ducks to keep us busy. In our down time we love to camp, visit the beach, and get out in the woods to explore. I was born in southern California (Yucca Valley) but moved to southern Oregon with my family when I was 7. I previously worked for a child learning center for 7 years where I got to work with multiple age groups, before becoming a stay at home mom for the last 9 years. I love to get involved with my kids and the activities they choose. I have coached my kids baseball teams and this year we entered into the world of raising a Hog for 4-H. We have been so blessed with Arrows and all it has brought to our homeschooling journey and I look forward to getting to know all your kids more this year and watching them grow.

Hello! My name is Tory Gettman. I am so honored to be a part of the Arrows Academy team. I grew up in Idaho and moved to Oregon 8 years ago. I graduated college in 2015 from Lewis-Clark State College with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. I did my internship at a Head Start program and fell in love with working in a school environment with young children. I got married to my husband, Phil, in 2015 after graduation and the Lord has blessed us with two sweet boys together. This will be my third year homeschooling my oldest and my youngest is starting with us this year. I have been blessed to be a stay-at-home mom over the last 7 years. During that time, I did some substitute teaching at Grace Christian school and last year I was a substitute at Arrows, as well. I love being outdoors and doing just about anything from camping with my boys, hunting, fishing, and hiking. We spend most of our days outside and try to do as much homeschool in the outdoors as possible. I look forward to all the adventures to come at Arrows and hope to have your child in my class.

Hi I’m Angie Kucera ! I am looking forward to my 5th year teaching with Arrows this fall! I’ve been married to my husband Dan for 24 years. We have identical twin daughters that are 22...hard to believe!! We attend Table Rock Fellowship where we have the joy of leading one of the worship teams. In addition to Arrows I have also been involved in years past with teaching music specialties at Grace Christian school where I’ve been able to lead over 250 kids for their Christmas and spring musical presentations. I have also taught science and social studies in past co-op homeschool groups . We homeschooled our girls from the 2nd to the 6th grade until they attended Grace Cascade schools and graduated from there 4 years ago. I am looking forward to this year and another fabulous group of kindergartners that I get to come alongside and watch them grow with you!

Hi! I am Angela Lounsbury and I am so excited to be returning to the Arrows Community again as the PreK teacher. Education and homeschooling have always been in my blood. I come from a long legacy of many wonderful teachers in my family and I myself was homeschooled from Pre-K through high school here in the Rogue Valley. I have been writing my own lesson plans since the 4^th grade! After getting my elementary teaching degree from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, I spent two years traveling the US as a head teacher for the African Children’s Choir. I have loved my many classroom teaching and ministry experiences in New Zealand, Uganda, Illinois, Tennessee, and Oregon. I am now settled back in the Rogue Valley, where I enjoy life with my husband of 7 years, my son, Oliver (5), and bonus daughters, Emily (17), and Sarah (22). I am passionate about Jesus and living a healthy and purpose filled life. During my free time, I love to travel, be outdoors, read, cook, make lists, and learn new things. My family attends Living Waters Church where I am involved in teaching Kingdom Kids (Sunday School). I am thrilled to partner with parents and kids to foster a love for learning and a love for Jesus. I can’t wait to meet each precious and unique Preschooler in August! 

Greetings!  I am Hannah Searcy and I am eager to be an aide again this year at Arrows Academy!  I grew up here in the valley and graduated from Cascade Christian.  My husband and I have been married for 13 years and I’ve been homeschooling our 3 girls for the past 6 years.  This will be our second year at Arrows, previously we were a part of Classical Conversations.  I have been involved with the children’s Sunday School at my church, Trinity Presbyterian, for the past 13 years.  I enjoy being busy and working with children! 

I’m thrilled to be leading music classes again this year. My husband and I live in Central Point with our four children. This is our fourth year at Academy and fifth homeschooling. Along with spending time with my kids, I love cooking, good coffee, and CrossFit! As a classically trained pianist, I spent 9 years teaching piano professionally and have been involved in local music productions, orchestras, VBS, and worship teams. Introducing kids to music is a special love of mine and I’m excited for the opportunity to do this at Arrows.

Hi! I’m Caitlin Frymire and I am so excited to be joining the Arrows team as a campus aid this year! I grew up in the Rogue Valley and my husband, Aaron and I have been married for going on 17 years. We have 3 children, Ella, Dylan and Judah. We met at Living Waters Church as teenagers and are still active there today where I regularly volunteer with the kid’s ministry. Growing up, my mom always helped in our classrooms and was always involved in our education even though we were not homeschooled. I always figured I would do the same but never anticipated we would be a homeschool family. Yet here we are! This will be our 3rd year homeschooling and the first year that all 3 of my kids are in school.  I am excited to get to know your children and play a role in shaping them into the people God has designed them to be!

Hey there! I'm Mallory Fairrington. I spent the last two years serving as the Arrows board treasurer where I learned so much about the organization and all that goes into making it what it has become to all our families.  I'm excited to come onboard this fall as one of the aids and look forward to supporting the staff and families in that way. My family joined the Arrows community in 2020 when we decided to start our homeschool journey and have not looked back! My husband, Tanner, and I were both born and raised in the Rogue Valley. My educational background is in ultrasound and I continue to work very part time as an ultrasound technologist. Our two kids, Tyler and Sadie, are big Arrows fans and have thrived in this environment. We are an active family and enjoy lots of outdoor activities including snow skiing, riding dirtbikes, waterskiing and wakeboarding, and floating in just about any body of water we can find! Living Waters is our home church and is a community we have really enjoyed being part of. I look forward to spending time with the kids of Arrows and getting to know your families.

Hello!  My name is Amy Wilson.  I’m so happy to be a part of Arrows Academy, partnering with you in teaching your kids! I have been blessed to teach my own daughter in my class, but she is now moving on to sixth grade this fall. In addition, I have 2 high schoolers and 2 graduates, who plan to start college in the fall.  We started homeschooling our 5 kids when my oldest was in 1st grade, and I’ve loved and treasured the time I’ve been given to pour into our children as I teach them at home.   I was homeschooled myself, from kindergarten through high school, and after attending Ecola Bible School in Cannon Beach, Oregon, served for many years in my church's children's and worship ministries. My husband and I have been married for 21 years and moved to the Rogue Valley from Southern California in 2018.  During our years in SoCal, we were involved in some wonderful Homeschooling communities, including Classical Conversations, where I enjoyed tutoring for 3 years.  Since moving here, I’ve had the joy of helping in the Arrows Co-op Pre-K class, and 2-3rd grade Drama class in 2019/20, and this will be my third year teaching 5th grade at the Academy! 

Hey there! My name is Katie Carie and this will be my second year as a program substitute for Arrows Christan Academy. I grew up in Southern California where I enjoyed competitive dance, sports and being involved in our local church. In college, I took an ASL class and became heavily involved in the Deaf community. I earned my AA in American Sign Language Interpreting and BA in Deaf Studies with an emphasis in teaching ASL. In 2009, I moved up to Seattle, WA where I earned a career diploma in Childhood Education and worked in deaf/hard of hearing non-profit services and in various childcare settings. In 2012, I married my husband Zach and in 2014 we had our first child, Mikayla (8). In 2016, we moved to Medford, OR for my husband’s job and a couple years later we had our son, Oliver (5).  This will be our fourth year homeschooling. We currently attend Heritage Christian Fellowship where my husband and I teach Sunday School in the kindergarten/first grade class. We’ve loved living in Southern Oregon and have been so grateful to find such a wonderful homeschool community at Arrows. I can’t wait for Jesus to work in the lives of all of our children and we guide them to know Him better!

Hi everyone! My name is Keri Foster, and I am so excited to be joining Arrows as a program substitute this year! My husband, Jason, and I have been married for 11 years and we have three children, (Sophie-13, Savannah-9, & Isaiah-6) all of whom attend Arrows and love it so much. It is hard to believe we are heading into our 6th year of homeschooling! What a joy and privilege it has been! I have always had a passion for learning and elementary education, and I am thrilled at the opportunity to come alongside the wonderful educators at Arrows in growing childrens' hearts towards Jesus. Jason and I have been active in youth ministry, ranging from babies to teens, at Journey Church since moving to Medford from Grants Pass in 2013, and currently teach Sunday School for 5-8 yr olds (or wherever needed)! We love having the opportunity and honor to help children find and be formed by Jesus and find their identity in Him. Along with serving at church, we love to travel, fish, boat, raise chickens, and enjoy good food together. I am a southern Oregon native, born and raised. I am also an avid reader and collector of books, always on the hunt for my next great read! I look forward to getting to know you and your children this year and to serve in whatever ways are needed. Hi! My name is Heather Sears and I am very excited to be joining the team at Arrows Christian Academy as a substitute teacher. Originally from a rural island in Southeast Alaska, I came to Oregon in 2009 to pursue my Bachelors degree in Communication from Southern Oregon University. In 2012 I graduated with my B.S. in Communication with an emphasis in photojournalism and a minor in art photography. I also hold a TESOL/TESL/TEFL certificate from Oxford Seminars. My teacher training course helped prepare me for teaching a wide range of students, and I look forward to applying that knowledge at Arrows. Prior to becoming a homeschooling mom I worked for a local fire department assisting  in operations and working as their Community Engagement Coordinator. Feeling drawn to be home with our young children more ultimately led us to homeschooling! 

My husband, Robert, and I enjoy a simple life on our two-acre homestead raising our children Noah (7), Emme (4) and bonus daughter Abby (17). We attend Edgewater Church (which we love!) and have been enjoying building community there and at Arrows. In our free time we love exploring nature in all forms, especially paddleboarding and hiking as a family. 

Hello, my name is Jennifer Jaeger. I am excited to join the Arrows team and serve as the Bookkeeper. My husband and I have two children who attend Arrows and the school has been such a blessing to our family. I am excited to use my work experience to assist in such an important and wonderful mission to serve our homeschooling community. I was born and raised in the United Kingdom with dual nationality and felt led at 19 to pack my bags and move to the states to attend University, where I met my husband and built my life in Ashland. 

Hi! I am Hilary Cooper. I was born in a small mountain community in Siskiyou County, CA. My family moved to the Griffin Creek area of the Rogue Valley when I was seven and I was blessed to be raised on a beautiful farm; riding horses, climbing cherry trees, feeding cows, and reading in the tall grass of the hay fields. I met my husband, Chris, in 2002 and we have been happily married since 2004! We have a small rural property outside Central Point where we enjoy our chickens, our four dogs, and the incredible views of the valley. Our family attends a local church and our two children are very active in the youth group there. I have accumulated quite the variety of work experience in my adult life! From bookkeeping, to managing an auto parts delivery service, to assisting a homebirth midwife, and most recently, several years working in the local public school district. I am honored to be included in the education and spiritual growth of the children of Arrows Christian Academy. 

Hello Arrows Community! My name is Ali Williams and I am so honored and thrilled to be back with this incredible community of students and educators. I taught 1^st/2^nd grade during Arrows Academy opening year before going on maternity leave in 2020.  I grew up in West Linn, Oregon where I met Jeff, my husband of 21 years. I graduated from Linfield College with my BA in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Spanish. That same year I taught a 2^nd/3^rd grade blend in my hometown. I married my high school sweetheart in 2002 and we moved to southern Oregon that same summer. I went on to get my Master’s Degree in Teaching from Southern Oregon University with an endorsement in teaching English to second language learners in 2004. My teaching resume over the last 23 years is eclectic ranging from preschool to 6^thgrade, including art, ESL, dual language kindergarten, substitute teacher, mentor teacher, homeschool co-op teacher and homeschool parent. Teaching, and children in general, are my passion and my life’s work. Jeff and I have five children together, ranging from toddlers to teens. We have a hobby farm in southwest Medford, where we have a slew of animals and children always roaming the property. We love to travel, boat, hike, eat and prepare good food and share our home and hearts with others. We have attended New Life for the past 15 years where I have actively served in children’s ministry ranging from nursery to teens.  This year I am joining Arrows Academy as an Instructional Coach. I work with teachers to find solutions, improve performance and innovate instruction. I understand the challenges facing teachers, parents and students today. It’s my desire to be a resource and support for students, classroom teachers and you, the homeschool teacher while you tackle this most challenging and rewarding endeavor.

Hello! My name Amie Blore. I have had the privilege of being the Grants Pass Academy Director the last two years and enjoyed being a part of brining Arrows Academy to Grants Pass. I am excited to be given the opportunity to help oversee both the Central Point and Grants Pass campuses as the Arrows Academy Executive Director. We started attending Arrows Academy by commuting to the Central Point campus from Grants Pass with my oldest daughter before opening the Grants Pass campus location. I have a Business Administration degree and have always enjoyed administrative work. I love to assist in the classrooms, teach PE, art classes, and to help make the things run smoothly with our day-to-day operations. Arrows Academy has been a perfect fit for our family by providing a Christian classroom environment along with the flexibility of homeschooling. I love schooling together in a community and have been so blessed by the impact our Arrows teachers have in our student's lives and the friendships that have been developed there. It has been such a blessing to come alongside families and support each other in homeschooling our kids!
